Banana Bread

When I was in Australia, I could try different things like the Bacon & Egg Roll or the Banana Bread. This one is super easy to bake and quick (just need to be patient for the baking).

To make this delicious snack, you will need :

  • 2 or 3 mature bananas,
  • 1/3 cup of melted butter,
  • Half of baking powder bag,
  • A bit of salt,
  • 3/4 cup of sugar (adjust depending on how sweet you want the cake to be 😉 ),
  • 1 egg,
  • Some vanilla extract,
  • 6/4 cup of flour,
  • 100g of chocolate chips.


Preheat your oven at 180°C and melt the butter.

In a bowl, crush the bananas with a fork until the texture is smooth. Add the melted butter.

Mix it with the baking powder and the salt. Then, add the sugar, the whisked egg, the vanilla and the four. Finish by the chocolate chips. 😉

Depending on your baking pan, grease it or not. Put the mix in it and put it in the oven for 45minutes (if it is not bake well by then, let it longer 😉 ).

Let it cool down and ENJOY!

  1. I love banana bread And even though my kids are adults they still make it for them when they come home! Sometimes I add chocolate chips and sometimes I have blueberries just depends on the day! I will be trying a recipe thanks for sharing!
