When I was planning my 2 weeks trip in Canada, I’ve realised that my return ticket was cheaper if I took a ticket Toronto-London than Toronto-Paris. At this moment, a promotion was happening on the Eurostar tickets. So I’ve decided to offer a return ticket to my dad to spend a couple of days there with him. 🙂
As you probably suspect, I am part of this generation who grew up reading the J. K. Rowling‘s books. As a big fan of Harry Potter, I have seen all the movies and I thought it was essential to visit the Making Of. So, I have enjoyed this London getaway with my dad to go there.
I have booked my Warner Bros. Studio Tour tickets in the same time as the Eurostar’s. It also allowed me to choose the best slot for us. And, I recommend you to do the same. You can only buy the tickets online. You won’t find any shops to buy them onsite. Anyway, it was like this when I went there.
I’ve booked the “Adult Complete Studio Tour Package” for Ł56,95 (67€ regarding XE) each. This ticket includes the visit at the chosen time, an audioguide and a memory guide. And honestly, it was worthing each pounds! 🙂
During around 3 hours and a half, you will be in complet immersion in this magical universe. You will have the occasion to discover every secrets hide in each movie and even more. You will be able to try some scenes of the movies by becoming one of the actor. My dad, who is not a fan of this universe, loved this experience and more especially its playful side. He loved it so much that he recommends it to everyone. In conclusion, it is an expensive experience but each cents that you spend there worths it. 😉
And you, did you do it? What did you think?
Some more infos:
The studios are based in Leavesden (15 minutes by bus from Watford Station), plan well your journey to get there beforehand in order not to miss your slot. By the way, a return trip to get there with the shuttle from Watford to the making of costs Ł3,00 per person.
You will find onsite things to eat and drink for few more pounds. If you always dreamed to try the Bertie bott’s candies or a butterscotch beer, it will be the time. 😉
